As a full-service digital agency, CodesonCanvas, LLC is looking for a digital media/marketing intern to join our team. The DoD Skill Bridge program offers internships based on open roles within our company, subject to availability and capacity to train. This program is designed to expose the Intern to various aspects of our industry and bridge the skills gap from military experience to our core competencies in customer service, marketing, and social media management.

Job Responsibilities
1. Assisting with the development and implementation of digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media advertising, and paid search campaigns.
2. Creating and curating content for social media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. This may include writing and editing posts, creating graphics, and scheduling content.
3. Assisting with the creation and management of website content, including blog posts, product pages, and landing pages.
4. Conducting market research to understand the target audience and competitors in the industry.
5. Helping to maintain and update the company’s website, ensuring that it is up-to-date and optimized for search engines.
6. Collaborating with other members of the marketing team to develop and execute digital marketing strategies.
7. Supporting in customer service, communication and follow-up with clients.
8. Helping with the coordination of third-party vendors and partners.
Qualifications:
- Must be within 180 days/6 months of discharge or release from service
- Completed the mandatory Soldier for Life – Transition Assistance Program (SFL-TAP) Courses or the Transition Assistance Program (TAP)
- Anticipate Honorable or Under Honorable Conditions discharge
- Have no flags or pending actions
- Must have an active-duty security clearance
- Must be approved by the Career Skill Bridge Program (CSP)
Schedule and Location
The Internship will primarily be conducted remotely, with the Intern selecting “in office” hours during which they can be contacted and expected to be working on job duties. These in office hours can range from 7 am to 10 pm, with a minimum requirement of 4 hours per day and a total of 30 hours per week.
Please note that there will be occasions when the Intern will need to attend in-person meetings with clients and team members. Fluency in both English and Spanish, both written and verbal, is a requirement for this position.
